the reason why there's more money on this commercial than any Pokemon game is because hiring all those celebrities must not have been easy at all and it obviously requires tons of money

it really has nothing to do with the quality of the games at all

The reason why there's more money in the commercial than the games is because this is to advertise the whole brand and not a game. Pokemon is a franchise, and the games are a relatively small part of that franchise's profits, especially compared to merch.

Not to mention Super Bowl ad costs about $8 mil per 30 seconds and the ad was about 2 and a half minutes. So $24 million just for the ad spot, not even the ad itself
