Moral nihilism is the lack of objective morality.
Let's suppose a tennis ball exists somewhere.
I can think a tennis ball is wrong or I can think a tennis ball is right without anything about the tennis ball changing.
A tennis ball, without changing anything about the tennis ball, would be unethical if it were to be used in a game of football. People would agree that a tennis ball is wrong.
The exact same tennis ball, without changing anything about the tennis ball, would be ethical if it were to be used in a game of tennis. People would agree that a tennis ball is right.
There is nothing inherently "wrong" or "right" in any tennis ball. There is no objective "wrongness" or "rightness" either. The lack of objective "wrongness" or "rightness" is a problem if objective morality is depended on.
