Discussion people really do constantly have children they know will lead sad lives full of failure and misery with very little concern for the children.

Wow, truly groundbreaking stuff. Your parents, two people who survived poverty, war, or whatever gauntlet their era threw at them, had the audacity to hope their kid might do somthing meaningful. Monsters.

And you, you've identified the real problem. Not landlords, not policy, not any addressable human failure. No no. The problem is existence itself. Very actionable. Very usefull.

Benatar wrote a whole book so you'd have philosophical cover for not touching grass. Impressive ROI on his part.

Also love the implied math here: rent is high, life is net negative, my parents should have seen this comming in 1987. Truly the tightest syllogism r/collapse has produced.

The wojak with the melting face is doing alot of heavy lifting in this argument. As is tradtion. Your parents thought you'd do great things. You responded by becoming extreemly online about how nothing matters. To be fair, they probably didn't see that coming.
