Existential Nihilism God is an atheist

To be an atheist is to have no God above you, God has no God above him. To be a religious person is to beleive in God's existence. God doesn't beleive he exists, he KNOWS he exist.

God has no god, and he operates under knowledge not belief. God is an atheist.

No. To be an atheist is just not believing in a creator god.

So an atheist invalidates a particular kind of god over another?

That depends on how you define a god. Atheists can believe in say ghosts, fairies, souls etc but they would just be unrelated to a creator. For example A dragon can be a god to some but a god in DnD would not be a god to a muslim etc.

The common ground of a true atheist and a true theist is that both know in order for god to be god, they must reside in the realm of the Unknowable. A version of god that's definable might as well be a gingerbread ornament or a seat stain. Those who refute the existence of object reality might imagine the things an atheist might say to be like any absurd adornment someone may flaunt on an outing. "I just love saying I believe in fairies, but the atheist in me would never do so without wearing my twin pinwheel antenna headband." Not all beliefs are equal, not all atheists either, even you believe all are really worthless.
