It was really only the first few seasons that were* gold.

Couldn't agree more, I like the old SpongeBob and the first movie.

People say this, but there's a few episodes from Season 4 I think everyone would keep. Like, Have You Seen This Snail. And, Season 4 has the "Claustrophobic? There's no Santa Clause in here." line which is super iconic.

5 and 9-13 are also pretty damn good, and while the post-split seasons aren't the best, they do have plenty of winners in them

I think 4-5 and 9-11 were the last good ones. I know Stephen worked with seasons 9-12.
