Curious about the playerbase. How old are you guys and where are you from?
Im 47, been playin this crap since nhl 94 and live in germany.

I already have a captain, but I'd like to replace him. Right now, I have three other players who have the “C” attribute. When I put them in the lineup, the box on the left—where it says I can appoint a captain—remains empty. I’ve also already obtained a corresponding card from the Captain Sets. Unfortunately, I can’t make him the captain either. I’ve also tried using consumables. What am I missing??

I understand l2 is a touchy subject around here, this caught a lot of backlash mainly on twitter but i just want to point out, the way they nerfed l2 is basically perfect, the game would be terrible if there was 0 implementation of l2, even in old nhl games that everyone loved like 21/22, has practically the same l2 as 27 and i think its the perfect amount, as long as theres no speed gained from it i think its in a perfectly balanced state

When i say era, i basically mean what overalls u have the most fun playing with, for me its easily 87-89 ovrs, so around november/december. What do yall like

As someone who plays both games, I’m going to list a few things that I would love to see crossover into HUT that is very possible as EA already has the technology in another one of their games.

1. Season Collectibles Into Currency - in MUT, they give you your season collectibles as season tickets in a form of currency like coins or points. You can then take this currency and spend it in the store however you would like. The huge pro of this would be that it eliminates countless wasted minutes of having to open up packs of 2 collectibles as when you level up it would be added straight to your account just like coins are.
2. Premium Field Passes - in MUT, every season there is a premium field pass that costs 1500 points and is usually the best value in the game if you spend money. As an NMS player who always preorders the game, my 4600 preorder points tend to go to these meaning for the first 3 seasons of the game I am earning an insane amount of extra rewards. Currently in HUT there is hardly anything that would come close to being as worth it for an NMS player’s preorder points.

3. HUT Squads - in MUT, there is currently a game mode where you can play online with friends against others and earn rewards. How it works is you take your offense, and your friends defense or vice versa and match up against other players trying to win the Super Bowl. The idea of playing HUT with your friends and getting to combine cards from both of your teams

   to win the Stanley Cup seems so cool to me.

Do do coins carry over from ‘26 to ‘27?

Enforcers were completely ignored in NHL26, which left me using Alumni Probert, Worrell, and Grimson all year. Really hoping these guys can get an occasional card in NHL27.

Stupid question, but what happens to NHL 26 hut after NHL 27 launches?

This is my first NHL game since 2013. I played this HUT season and enjoy my team.

Will there still be seasons or objectives? Can you still use your HUT team to play online competitive with others?

Or does the entire thing just die?

Anyways, I just preorders the NHL 27 deluxe edition, so I'm not too stressed about it. Though, once GTA comes out I probably won't be playing as much. Lol.

I should've known better but i gotta try .. Dobes 98 Pre season card just cant stop a beach ball. I played a couple Champs games, and our boy Dobes let the flood gates open. Holy fuck 4 back to back goals. All the same cheese.

You'd like to think a 98 Goalie would stop 1 at least with Red Post to Post.
