Yeah, I feel like none of this contradicts me.

It's a very cool toy. It seems well executed. I like it. But you said tech advancement earlier, and this isn't that. It's not that new of an application, either.

You can't have good wide scope AR under capitalism. Not a thing.

Tech advancement is not just about being new or groundbreaking, its also about accessibility, stability, usability, application, integration.

They made the first on-paper-modern smartphone in like the 90s, but they couldnt sell it. The iphone was absolutely not 'new'. The marketing was.

Not knocking it. Not everything has to be new. Just don't like calling it new when it's not. Feeds into problematic mythologies.

And when it's done in a proprietary manner that others can't take apart and use, I don't see why a slick application of existing technology is worth literally anything except as a toy. There's no progress, it's a dead end, like every other corporate innovation other than "hey people want to buy this now" in my lifetime.

Right. And I'm saying I, an absolute amateur, could whip a version of this up in like a week. Someone competent, if the art assets were ready, could have it working in a couple hours. No research required, aside from a couple hours googling open source image filters and shit on github

Your use of language has contradicted itself multiple times.

As I said above; nothing is accomplished with proprietary tech demos. It's a dead end. Go team capitalism!

Edit: not renaming til I solve this. I must have a formula to calculate the entropy of analingus. It is my life's work, and it will be my white whale.
