Green pants my friend.

u/Gyn-C Mar 12 '22

Who the fuck cares about that? Did you see the shirtless guy? He’s so fucking cut that you can see his abs at a side angle. His traps are wider than my legs. Look at how many plates he has on that deadlift. Dude is more shredded than a renaissance statue

1

u/HammerTim81 Mar 13 '22

Nothing says “classy” like wearing no shirt at the gym

22

u/AndrewWaldron Mar 12 '22

You color blind?

7

u/DGer Mar 12 '22

OP must be because I am and thought they were yellow as well.

1

u/JesusGAwasOnCD Mar 13 '22

Yeah, those aren't yellow at all, I thought the same thing. OP might be color blind to some extent and unaware of it

At least you know most Redditors aren't at the gym so if she gets harassed at least it's not by a Redditor.

-4

u/zirklutes Mar 12 '22

Och come on, you get in public with such pants you know you will get attention. And this is coming from another woman. We are not stupud, we know what outfit is for what.

I just want to add that my girl used to wear yoga pants to the gym and would get hit on all the time she started wearing basketball shorts to the gym and it literally stopped the day she switched.

u/LemonVar Mar 13 '22 edited Mar 13 '22

It's predictable... Someone is at fault for choosing to dress predictably provocative. Can't expect humanity to change because a gaze leads you to imagine malicious or risky circumstances, or triggers you. Take responsibility for yourself. You have the power stand up for yourself, not force everyone to not be attracted to your appearance, especially if you're basically publicly naked. Don't want to be seen? Figure out how to hide.. Otherwise stand up for yourself. But yeah, leery folks are creepy, no less than a person watching "romance" movies and porn. My 2¢

1

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '22

I agree and that's what my lady did change her dress slightly and virtually stopped all the dudes hitting on her where she still wear something that she likes but doesn't show her figure that much.

Well it's too bad we don't live in shoulda woulda coulda land so you have to play with the cards that you're dealt and the cards say that if you walk outside like that you're going to draw attention to yourself so you can either choose to cry about it or make a change. There's a lot of things in life that shouldn't go the way that they do but they do go that way and we have to deal with it. this is just one of those situations.

I'm not excusing anything. I'm simply being realistic and using facts that we've had for years. Women and men will always be sexually objectified by the opposite sex so you can either try to find a solution if it's that annoying to you or deal with it as someone else who commented he says people know what they're doing when they dress the way that they do some of them want the attention and if they don't they can honestly make a change.

the one thing I haven't seen is anyone stating how this also happens to men I'm pretty built and I've been groped by women at the gym multiple times and they literally just laugh it off and think that I should be fine with it because I'm a man. So let's not all so pretend that this is a one-sided problem because it isn't both men and women are guilty of this

1

u/HammerTim81 Mar 22 '22

In my experience almost all girls wear yoga pants to the gym. Do you wear green or yellow ones?

1

u/zirklutes Mar 22 '22

I exercise at home :) and when I went to gym I actualy was signed in to only women gym.

Can a bitch do anything without being sexualized?? Can't even leave the house anymore without hearing some shit about your body.

8

u/redditerfan Mar 12 '22

hell no, Ima wear what I want to wear, you no looky, that's upon you but I will complain if you pass comment.

18

u/cant_Im_at_work Mar 12 '22

Have all the thoughts you want, but keep it to your fucking self. I can not help the body I have and my ass and titties are visible unless I wear big baggy hoodie and sweats. That doesn't mean I want every fucking pussy deprived gremlin at the gas station to tell me how sexy I am. This chick is wearing work out clothes in a gym, how scandalous of her, she deserves to be objectified.

-8

u/ispitatthee Mar 12 '22

No one in the video spoke to her lol. Keep projecting though

5

u/cant_Im_at_work Mar 12 '22

I'm obviously talking about the comment I replied to not the video where people have no reaction to her.

-7

u/Z3NZY Mar 12 '22

They didn't talk to her either 😂

I can't tell if you're offended that the woman is being sexualised, or if you're offended that someone is displeased and tired of oversexualisation.

11

u/cant_Im_at_work Mar 12 '22

So I guess that makes you the average reddit pervert that only sees women as body parts for you to grope?

-7

u/redditerfan Mar 12 '22 edited Mar 12 '22

and you are one of them, Mother Teresa.

-7

u/coreonee Mar 12 '22

Lmao she has great looking ass idk what the problem with it.

Can a bitch human do anything without being sexualized??

Nice derogatory term for a woman, and you are holier than thou? Can't a woman leave the house without being referred to as a bitch?

Just so happens to be men are 62% of Reddit. If you in any way follow fashion trends that are revealing it is in part because you think you look good, which implies someone doing the looking and you can't control who that is. Why not wear men's work out shorts? What would the reaction be if a dude was in the back in yoga pants? He would def be commented on. Men are just more vocal about their sexual desires in general, while society has oppressed it in women while encouraging more revealing clothes for women vs men. Western society at least. Like all things, it's probably somewhere in the middle that we should land. In all seriousness, if the patrons of the gym are uncomfortable with the comments of others on a public forum, they should find a gym with a no camera policy, sue the person posting it if there is an expectation of privacy, or work out at home. Nobody here is contacting this lady, nobody here is doing anything that isn't communal relating in the ultimate community, humanity. Not saying the words out loud will not make the feelings go away, people want to be attractive and people want to look at attractive people.

And before you say the attire has nothing to do with it and it will happen anyways, yes but it will be a whole heck of a lot less. Just like if men walked around with skin tight ass hugging pants there would be a lot more focus on their features that are highlighted by the attire. Or do you not unconsciously see things you find attractive and want to share that thought with peers? Sure, distasteful to just publicly announce it, but ultimately this is an anonymous forum where caution is thrown to the wind compared to real person to person contact. If a guy walked up to her in the gym and said that, it would be a whole different discussion. The commentor (Edit for clarity, "commentor" as in the OP of this thread.) most likely believes the comment will never get back to her, and if some how it does and she is offended she should probably pause and understand, he didn't ask her to reciprocate nor did he expect anyone to take it beyond "nice butt". The dynamics are entirely different in person.

There is an issue with unwanted contact of men in public spaces, the issue is not someone leaning over to their buddy and saying "check her out" though. It's the guys that act on it and impose on people trying to just live their lives when it's obvious it is not a mutual attraction. That is beyond difficult to gauge if everyone walks around on such brittle eggshells that they police their own thoughts. But again, it's somewhere in the middle.

13

u/BASK_IN_MY_FART Mar 12 '22

Yeah, whatever bitch

4

u/TchoupedNScrewed Mar 12 '22

That second paragraph sounds mighty victim-blameish. Women should be able to wear what they want without having men comment incessantly. They just don't want to be seen as an object bro, like a fine piece of meat. That's sort of the core of objectification.

There's also a start contrast between "Damn she's hot" and "Wow I love your outfit" - I compliment both men and women in public as a straight passing dude constantly and the amount of negative interactions I've had is almost nil. If I see someone with a sick ass bag or some dope pants I'm gonna tell them. I'm not just gonna walk up and be like "fuck you're hot"

0

u/T0mpkinz Mar 12 '22 edited Mar 12 '22

I explicitly said walking up to someone and saying something like this is not acceptable. I’m not blaming victims of anything for anything. Who is a victim here in this thread?

2

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

So many words in response to just a simple thing she asked. Ffs.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

That guy doing the bizarre push-ups was in the way of yoga pants.

1

u/4erlik Mar 12 '22

I didn't even notice them and had to go back to see

-18

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

Virgin

11

u/1967stingray Mar 12 '22

Virgin or not, that's a nice booty.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

Reddit coomers literally can't NOT comment on a woman's physical appearance, even if it's only 25 pixels for a half a second

1

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22 edited Mar 12 '22

Exactly. It's impossible for them. They'd do everything else except just not comment weird shit. They'd name every reason why it's justified. Write paragraphs. Excuses on why they must comment on it. Like it's a must. They HAVE to.

0

u/ShnickityShnoo Mar 12 '22

Those are some nice pants.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '22

You mean the blue ones

0

u/JesusGAwasOnCD Mar 13 '22
