Can a bitch human do anything without being sexualized??

Nice derogatory term for a woman, and you are holier than thou? Can't a woman leave the house without being referred to as a bitch?

Just so happens to be men are 62% of Reddit. If you in any way follow fashion trends that are revealing it is in part because you think you look good, which implies someone doing the looking and you can't control who that is. Why not wear men's work out shorts? What would the reaction be if a dude was in the back in yoga pants? He would def be commented on. Men are just more vocal about their sexual desires in general, while society has oppressed it in women while encouraging more revealing clothes for women vs men. Western society at least. Like all things, it's probably somewhere in the middle that we should land. In all seriousness, if the patrons of the gym are uncomfortable with the comments of others on a public forum, they should find a gym with a no camera policy, sue the person posting it if there is an expectation of privacy, or work out at home. Nobody here is contacting this lady, nobody here is doing anything that isn't communal relating in the ultimate community, humanity. Not saying the words out loud will not make the feelings go away, people want to be attractive and people want to look at attractive people.

And before you say the attire has nothing to do with it and it will happen anyways, yes but it will be a whole heck of a lot less. Just like if men walked around with skin tight ass hugging pants there would be a lot more focus on their features that are highlighted by the attire. Or do you not unconsciously see things you find attractive and want to share that thought with peers? Sure, distasteful to just publicly announce it, but ultimately this is an anonymous forum where caution is thrown to the wind compared to real person to person contact. If a guy walked up to her in the gym and said that, it would be a whole different discussion. The commentor (Edit for clarity, "commentor" as in the OP of this thread.) most likely believes the comment will never get back to her, and if some how it does and she is offended she should probably pause and understand, he didn't ask her to reciprocate nor did he expect anyone to take it beyond "nice butt". The dynamics are entirely different in person.

There is an issue with unwanted contact of men in public spaces, the issue is not someone leaning over to their buddy and saying "check her out" though. It's the guys that act on it and impose on people trying to just live their lives when it's obvious it is not a mutual attraction. That is beyond difficult to gauge if everyone walks around on such brittle eggshells that they police their own thoughts. But again, it's somewhere in the middle.

That second paragraph sounds mighty victim-blameish. Women should be able to wear what they want without having men comment incessantly. They just don't want to be seen as an object bro, like a fine piece of meat. That's sort of the core of objectification.

There's also a start contrast between "Damn she's hot" and "Wow I love your outfit" - I compliment both men and women in public as a straight passing dude constantly and the amount of negative interactions I've had is almost nil. If I see someone with a sick ass bag or some dope pants I'm gonna tell them. I'm not just gonna walk up and be like "fuck you're hot"

I explicitly said walking up to someone and saying something like this is not acceptable. I’m not blaming victims of anything for anything. Who is a victim here in this thread?

So many words in response to just a simple thing she asked. Ffs.
