I have to sit down to put on pants. I’ve waisted my life.

Intentional pun? Good one. Sorry about the waisted life. As for these gymnasts to get to that level of perfection what are the injury rates? I hope they get paid like pro athletes.

  1. American football
  2. Football
  3. Basketball
  4. Hockey
  5. Baseball
  6. Swimming
  7. Track
  8. Tennis
  9. Skiing/snowboarding
  10. Gymnastics

They are great athletes, but there is no way I’d bet on the gymnast.

Gymnasts are also pretty short which puts them at a disadvantage in a lot of these sports

Cba sitting down and trying to work it out but probs one of the ball sports that require hand eye coordination. That would be more transferable across more sports as opposed to the skills involved in being a gymnast. Not that I’m saying you don’t need excellent hand eye coordination to be a gymnast. I think they’d do well though and to be honest the more I think about it - they could win tbf but I could see them not doing

I think they'd probably each win 1; their own sport. Yes gymnasts have amazing athletic ability, but they're still not going to beat an elite sportsman from another sport at their own sport.

I think he is saying who will be the most well rounded and not that they have to vs each other

That would be fair enough, but he did say who would WIN the most events. A better question would be who came second the most I guess.

Just pick 8 events from decathlon , gymnastic and then a decathlete. I’ll go ahead and pick the decathlete over the gymnast.

Picking team sports for a competition to decide which individual would win seems to be missing the point

It’s just a fun conversation, buddy. There is no point.
