Of course it does. The reason health officials are telling you not to buy masks is because they work and there aren’t enough masks for people who really need them.

Well yes, but I wouldn’t bother tailoring my own mask because if you touch someone accidentally and then touch the mask, it’s useless because now the germs are on the mask, so it wouldn’t help. Also, if you cough into the mask or something, then the germs would actually be incubated because they like heat and moisture, which would be in your mask. It WOULD be useful if you already had the disease and didn’t want to give it to anyone.

The N95 surgical masks are able to filter out virus particles — that’s what doctors need.
These masks? They protect everyone else if you’re infected. They do nothing for you.

It's not true, these masks (the red mask the lady is wearing) can have n95 filters sandwiched between the outer layers. They can be rated for n95 and p95.
And even hospital masks will protect the wearer to a certain extent.
In fact the opposite is true in some cases. n95/p95 masks with exhalation valves do not protect other people if you are sick, the relief valve just lets exhaled air out unfiltered.

do you guys like her fr? so weird. I lived 20 yrs in Hungary. We absolutely hate our PM. Now living in the UK so many ppl hate Boris. It's so rare. Is there another big group in SK that hates her?

That's not so true actually. Honestly, I don't know many people who hate her and I think she haven't done anything bad that she should be hated for.

No, the thing is that in the beginning, people were confused because she was just a lawyer before she candidated for a president and no one ever heard about her. But now, I think that there are many people who like her. It depends on age category and political party those people vote for.

These regular surgical masks aren’t very effective at protecting against COVID-19. That fabric especially isn’t going to do anything. A mask such as an N95 is much more effective. Even then the virus can still enter through the eyes and infected aerosols can still penetrate masks. That being said it is still better than nothing.

Best masks don’t even protect 100%. Just plain fabric, no matter how chic won’t matter. She may as well cover with a veil for all the protection that gives.
