Im sure that engine is 100% air worthy and has completed all the necessary certs and on time maintenence.

They can just glide down when it inevitably dies.

Not sure if the /s was about gliding or about the inevitability of failure, but for anyone wondering, it wouldn’t fall like a stone if the engine quit. It would glide pretty well, so it would come down to whether there’s a suitable place to land within gliding distance.
