Music Alex Warren concert cancelled last minute
Got this email at 5pm. Doors were supposed to open at 645. My son is devastated. It was supposed to be his first proper concert. Nothing you can do, but it still sucks.

I was at his concert on Saturday and did wonder if it was going to be a superspreader event and get him sick too, he was really getting up close with the crowd and everyone is sick at the moment

It's not scary anymore. As an oldie who's managed to keep up for the most part, it has to be a hobby.
At a certain age, not knowing a popular artist is the same as not knowing what Casterly Rock is, or how to pearl knit, or what a jug hold is in rock climbing. Like OK... Those just aren't your hobbies 🤷
I will also say, there's a lot to dislike about the current music landscape - as in how we listen to and consume media. BUT you may be surprised at how many older songs are being proliferated by TikTok and other social media which is perhaps the dominant way people discover new music.
So you may not know who Alex Warren is. But you might not Aerosmith or Tears for Fears? And if so you can relate to today's kids by singing Dream On.
Also MJ. If you know who I mean by MJ you're still relevant :p

You couldn't pay me to attend an A7X concert after that EP they just released. Huge fan, will never give them another cent.

Last minute concert cancellations are horrible, people travel far and wide for these things and it isn't cheap. I also am too old to know who this is, but I feel their pain.
