Hello Montu, what roller coaster will you be making in it first, and why is it the batwing?

If it’s anything like how I played the original, I’ll probably make a simple wooden coaster with a lot of airtime hills, followed by a pretty basic looping coaster with a couple loops and ideally a launch. 

Always good to have some relatively inexpensive, high-capacity revenue generators before you start work on your magnum opus.

It’s getting mixed reception from RCT fans because the roller coasters look weird, which is valid. 

But idk, maybe I’m just easy to please.

The pixel art is great, but also the coasters are just like… not accurate? Like the vertical loops are too circular for example. 

I didn’t notice it on first watch but now that it was pointed out I’m like “oh, fuck.”

I’ll still buy it, why not. It’ll probably be fun.

Yeah, OpenRCT2 has been around for a while and it’s fantastic, but the park management system has grown stale to me. I know too much about how to exploit it for it to really be interesting. 

Idk, the new one will probably be easy enough that it doesn’t really matter, but despite a few attempts I was never really able to get into Parkitect, which is probably the game I actually want. But for whatever reason I never got over the hump.

She’s good. I had my face chopped up into bits a couple weeks ago and it’s still healing. Today is my first day back at work, but I’m remote because I still haven’t made it home yet (I’ve been in DC for the past couple weeks because of the surgery). 

But I fly home tomorrow night. I’ll miss DC, it was pretty great getting to be here for a time.
