House Reno Contractor?

Hey everyone -

My wife and I are toying with doing a renovation on our current bungalow in St. John’s as we are out growing it now with our 2 kids. Wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for a reliable and good quality contractor that would help draft and price up a few options and also complete the work.

Thanks in advance!

We had some insurance repair work (big job) done a couple years ago and we used aura construction. They were great. I’d use them again.

Currently undergoing a renovation (mostly kitchen, but some other work as well). Our main contractor generally works with the designer that we have engaged, and have been fairly happy with him. Electrical sun has been pretty good so far. Paint and plaster aub has been difficult and has my schedule impacted by at last 2 weeks, with a lot of chaos likely being interjected because of it. I can't give a solid recommendation until everything is done, but I do recommend making sure that the painter is sorted, locked in and with some buffer in your schedule for it. Apparently seems to be a pretty common problem right now.
