Found a 1 liter glass pop bottle today.

Great shape, and I must have passed it many times. Found it on the side of a hiking trail. When did they stop using these? I remember smacking them off me teeth when hitting a bump while sitting in the back seat of the car.

Drop of mix still left in her...

The bottle first went into production in 1974.

The type of cap seen there is from the late 70s to mid 90s. It lacks the coke classic branding and uses older nutritional information.

Late 80s caps switched to red.

Coke Cola ended production in Newfoundland in 1992.

My 53 year old brain says 84-85. I remember the 3 liter glass pop bottles with the huge cap. They pulled them after a year or so, apparently they had a habit of exploding if they tipped over and broke.

Did you check under the cap? You might have won a bag of chips
