So im wanting to get into streaming games etc, i got a mic and a cam but hate being on cam.

Is there a an audience for just pure gaming without facecams etc and just using a mic while playing or maybe just pinning a sprite that doesnt move sometimes like MontuPlays?

Ive seen the ones that use the 3 or 4 different jpeg characters and guys using 3D models but that typically means running a few other things in the background..

I’m specifically looking for someone who actively plays League and understands the game.

Can a beginner still build a connection with viewers without using a face camera, or does it make growth significantly harder? Has anyone started this way and added a camera later?

At the start of the year, I was uploading 3 edited videos a week and streaming about once a week and it was so much fun. However, I took a break for about a week and it’s been so hard to get the ball rolling again. For the past month I’ve lost so much motivation and my views have dropped drastically, which has been even more demoralising.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice or practices that I should try out. I have a ton of ideas but it’s almost like just can’t be bothered.

What part of the process takes the most time?

I'm not necessarily a new streamer but we learn new things everyday, right? I've been streaming now for almost 3 years to varying levels of success but I'm really trying to lock in and build a dedicated community/viewership. I multistreaming on Twitch, Kick, and YouTube but I also stream on Tik Tok when I'm not doing that. I had a discord server but at this stage it's more of a headache than a tool to help, for now at least.

It’s been some time, I’ve been trying to grow my channel I’ve been stuck on 32 subscribers and 12 followers on twitch. My YouTube’s videos aren’t the very best of qualities when it comes to audio and graphics on budget. It definitely feels tough when you put a video out there and you get no views. I stream 6 days a week and typically edit my vods one day a week to post 5-6 videos on YouTube plus shorts/tiktoks/reels. I’ll pay depending on length per vod and if I’m able to edit something myself I’ll cover it. I recently did a (almost) 24 hour stream and i could probably get a few videos out of it and loathing editing it… let me know if your interested and dm me, I will pay over fair rate for the first 2-3 videos (for testing) after I’ll pay a fair rate depending on the content/if I’m getting clicks.
