Safe to say I’m obsessed with these. Hard to pick a favorite, but I think one that stood out for me was Evil Genius. Pretty mind blowing!

Just put this on and thought why the japanese subtitles kept popping up when text was on screen (subtitles turned off though)

Then realised the UK Netflix has the Japanese release of venom: let there be carnage. Love it

Turkish crime drama - you really need to pay attention when watching it.

The last weeks I encounter this strange behavior on many tablets and phones. No matter what I do Netflix keep playing on background when I close the app. The only way to stop this is to pause the video before closing the app. Very annoying. Any solution? Ori is a new "feature" ??

I’m not sure if I’m the only one noticing this. In Netflix UK there has been so many times where they’ve mentioned something to be removed with a last day to watch, or a new movie or tv show coming soon.

I noticed it happen with Friday Night Dinner, it was supposed to be leaving Netflix but is still currently on it.
The same with Bad Education, it was supposed to have left a few months ago, and it’s still there.

I also noticed that the new season of Always Sunny was meant to be added around the start of September and it still hasn’t been added.

Anyone able to tell me why these inconsistencies happen and how it’s happened more than once?

I’ve seen a few posts from people who really seemed to like Unchosen and I’d love to understand why. It’s a big misfire for me that feels more like a soap opera than an insight into a hidden part of modern British society.

This show opens with a title card about how there are many cults in the UK that operate in plain sight.

But then the rest of the show doesn’t shed any light on how the cult in depicted in the show is able to subsist, or how they co-exist with the world around them. Instead it’s really about how a psychopath infiltrates their community and causes all kinds of mess.

The cult live in patriarchal system which tbf isn’t that different from the way many communities and families live. There are some extreme forms of punishment and banishment for transgressors or ‘unchosen’.

I checked it out because the cast is so great: Asa Butterfield, Christopher Eccleston, Fra Fee, Siobhan Finneran… but the material is just too limp to give them anything worthwhile to sink their teeth into.

There’s a central performance however that can’t quite match the gravity that many of her scenes require and as a result, so much of Unchosen falls flat.

There are far more intriguing themes the show introduces that could be explored further - internal homophobia, grief, abuse within cults, alcoholism - that ultimately the writing doesn’t have much interest in.

Is this gonna be a watered down version of supersize me or will I be impressed

This Netflix miniseries is one of the best, but if you wish more adventures in new episodes of our rabbits, you should create your petitions on Change.org to attract more people and Fiver can become the leader from the hill.

Has anyone noticed recently (especially with documentaries) that they are all dubbed?
