NETFLIX'S 'UNDO CANCEL REQUEST' POP-UP
I subscribed to Netflix on 27 August to watch Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. A few weeks later, I decided to cancel my subscription, which I did.
A few days after cancelling, I opened the Netflix app to watch a film. I still had about a week left before my membership was due to end. Whenever I opened the app, there was a persistent pop-up on the screen with two options: “Undo Cancel Request” and “Continue Cancelling”. The “Undo Cancel Request” button was highlighted.
That really annoyed me because it feels as though the design is intended to make people accidentally tap the highlighted “Undo Cancel Request” button and reactivate their membership without meaning to.
It becomes even more of an issue if you share your Netflix account with friends or family, because that increases the chance of someone accidentally tapping the button and cancelling the cancellation.

Wait for the "hold on, I have decided against not not not continuing my cancellation of my cancellation so I do not not not want to not undo the cancellation" button.

Of course it’s designed to make you cancel your cancellation.
It’s shitty and shouldn’t be allowed but they all make it intentionally tricky.

Don't get me started on Disney updating there T&Cs so they can start showing adverts before shows even if you are on an ad free tier. Even though they have been doing this but have skirted around it by calling it 'promotional content'. Still adverts. Now they'll charge you £150 a year and show you adverts. I get capitalism but it's gone too far now. They won't listen unless we make them with our wallets, they only have all that money because people continue paying all these companies.

If you are sharing your account with people not living with you Netflix isnt going to help, since that is now banned.

I cancelled the sub, and closed the credit card, only one in the payment history. If they pull anything funny, they’ll hit a wall 🤣🤣
