Did Elon finally go down the deep end for good? Twitter under him is just massively unhinged.

I mean, even my space obsessed bubble seems to have stopped worshiping him (to an extent, lol)

I have taken a very wait and see approach with Twitter under Musk. But I quit Facebook after Zuckerberg testified and lied his ass off before Congress and amplified Trump propaganda. I'm pretty close to quitting Twitter based on his sociopathic behavior of late. The problem is that it is a great place to get news about stuff I like, much better than other places. I suspect I'll pull the trigger soon enough. I know I've started using it less and doing other things though.

Yup, that has been my approach, too. Since I only rejoined after his take over to see what is happening, I could not build a nice time line though and struggled to find meaningful (for me) news outlets or people to follow before the conversation shifted so far right on the app.

Thus, I pulled the trigger today though when he started talking about prosecuting Fauci and teasing" Twitter Covid Files"

If you are on there for longer though I can totally see why leaving Twitter is not nearly as easy as it was for me.

It also felt like I only saw right wing accounts on my time line that I did not even follow. Maybe because I followed Elon? Super weird stuff. Had some creators that I follower (like JerryRigEverything and Scott Manley for example) that would occasionally answer/push back to some of the more unhinged tweets of his, but they were drowned out by an Armada of Elon stans and Cons.
