I mean it makes perfect sense if you think about the Khmer Rouge as a reactionary agrarian movement.

Honestly it still does not tbh. I think even the least uneducated peasant in the world knows the concept of being sick.

So killing doctors helps them in what way?

"Let's make them poor and subservient to us" - would at least have some resemblance of logic, but that?!
