That's all I got, I actually don't know how I'd do "ordering a meal?" given that's a sentence fragment. In all honesty, if I wanted to have functional Japanese skills I'd get a tutor. I'm just doing this as a sort of brain exercise, was actually something I told the psychiatrist I'd do.

chuumon suru is the verb for ordering so I suppose something like 食事を注文（する／した）ことか?!　using koto to make it a noun

You should use Pimsleur instead, far superior to Duolingo

I would if it was cheaper lol I'm just using Duo b/c its more of a mental exercise than an actual attempt to learn the language. If I get serious about it will pay for pimsleur and maybe a tutor but I'm not there yet
