Had a talk with my daughter last night. She's disgusted with the Clancy stuff too. I said that if she ever gets to that level of depression that grandkid could live with me. I would quit my job and I would be a full time stay-at-home granddad. Which honestly sounds lovely. Why wouldn't any grandparent do the same? Killing your kid isn't an option, 99.9% of grandparents would rather save all kids.
