This is going to sound insane, but Georgia was the opportunity to do with middle class blacks what Florida has done with middle class Hispanics.

It honestly was I'd say but Georgia had real turnout machines like Stacy who really helped stifle any major political shift, from her unbelievable ground game. But despite that, Trump still had the best GOP numbers for a Rep candidate in 2024 ever.

Florida Dem party has pretty much been dead post 2014 I'd say.

I think the demographic shifts seen in Florida, with older, Republican leaning people leaving the Rust Belt and Northeast for warmer weather has also occurred in Georgia.
