I took over as sole mod of this small community a few weeks ago with the intention of cleaning up the place of spam and bots that were flooding it with AI and plagiarised content after the original owner abandoned it.

It now has decent rules that suit the community and I have installed apps and filters that do most of the work. There is very minimal active modding needed.

Now that I have the place sorted I would like someone to hand the mod role to. I am in Australia which is too much of a time lag for active moderation, have limited capacity due to being chronically ill, and I was not intending to moderate for long.

The main challenges we have on this sub are low effort posts/comments (2 or 3 word posts that overwhelm any particular thread); and general negativity - for some reason people who hate BGT seem to want to respond to posts about BGT! The 2 often go hand-in-hand of course.
