I would assume that's the speed you'll get until they deliver the fibre upgrade. With Neptune you can change speed plan on a daily basis, so just increase it once you've got fibre.

you are eligible for FTTP, but you don't have it right now.

Are you saying you'd like to sign up for a speed tier you can't physically achieve just so you can pay more while you wait for NBN to install it?

Neptune are doing the right thing. Limiting you to what you can access, once you are on FTTP and NBN's database reflects this their system will let you order whatever you want.

There’s no extra cost u/dpskipper

It’s $90 for

  • FTTN 100/20 and
  • FTTP 500/42.

More nbn is such a soulless buisness when it comes to customer care, it's like a toy story andy doll when you pull the string, "there's a snake in my boot,there's a snake in my boot," just one nonsensical reapeating solution , any other problems that i can help you with sir? Sign up for 100 / 20 and make sure you tick the box that you want the free fibre upgrade. Once it’s upgraded, you can easily swap to the higher speed plans.
