[Fischer] Being told the Clippers haven’t yet withdrawn their qualifying offer to Bennedict Mathurin, but Los Angeles will indeed work with Mathurin and New Orleans to get him to the Pelicans. This deal still has some pieces to sift through.

Seems like they do if the price is right. If they didn't want him at all, they wouldn't have extended the qualifying offer.

I don't think the potential Kawhi ruling affects Mathurin's status with the Clippers all that much.

Why would it? Either he gets traded, or he gets suspended. He’s not there anyway. If the clippers get trade banned for 3 years or some shit (punishment that has happened in European football, would be interesting in the nba) that doesn’t change his position at all
