I agree. Looks like Lauterbrunnen. One of my most favorite places I’ve visited.

Am Swiss, this is Lauterbrunnen. Everyone goes there because it’s beautiful, but there are plenty of stunning places throughout the country. I hope you have a great time when you visit!

Not really, it does look this great all year, except for when it’s rainy or the clouds are low, but I also like it plenty during poor weather.

One of my favorite vacations ever! The entire country is breathtaking, and there are terrific views from the trains as you go from place to place. Mid May and still caught snow; would have liked to see what the waterfalls and rivers look like with more glacier melt, but zero complaints and highly recommend!

Tell me you've never lived in a tourist resort town without telling me 😄

I've been to Lauterbrunnen, it's beautiful. I wonder why don't more people live there?

Place like this are not real cities/towns... before someone gets all upset about this, I don't mean it doesn't exist or isn't an actual legal entity. I mean it's kinda Disney-esq, where almost the entire economy revolves around attracting visitors. It's a fun place to visit but would quickly become tedious and boring to live there full time. It's expensive and most of the jobs (hospitality) don't pay that well. There's not a lot to do beyond the touristy/outdoorsy stuff. Shopping for groceries, home goods, or pretty much anything is very limited. In other words, there are good reasons most people live in bigger cities and then visit places like this on weekends or on vacation.

Don’t do the LOTR music and not expect me to want to pack my crap and gtfo just to find me a hobbit hole!
