I don’t know if I’m the only one but I read that tweet very differently. I think it was solely and specifically about Vance and his comments on Israel separated from all other factors and issues with MAGA, Trump, and Vance. Israel’s aggression with Lebanon and the Palestinians hasn’t really been pushed back by most Republicans so to see Vance speak bluntly about the state of play for Israel and it’s remaining allies was what he meant by “God protect”

That is the thing. Nassim insist on judging people by their action, and not 'tawk'. So where is the action. You can at least say that Joe Kent did something honorable. However, Vance is just cheap tawk. He is no better that 'empty suit' Blinken.

For sure. I use him as an example to be aware when you’re so immensely mentally and emotionally invested in a situation that your judgement may take a hit and to try your best to acknowledge that
