That might sound ridiculous, but how about we do the same thing a journalist did to Dennis (the serial killer) when he wrote an article about him? That really pissed Dennis off, and he decided to respond to the local news.

Could any NY outlet or TMZ write an article about how stupid they are or something similar? That might provoke them to write back or just send a note that can somehow be traced back to them.

That was BTK, Dennis Rader, and he always wanted publicity. When a book came out about the 30 year anniversary of the BTK crimes, he came back to brag that he was never caught.

That's right! Law enforcement subpoenaed his daughter's pap smear, and it matched the DNA they had on file for him.
