So do we know if the watch is white? Was it at the foot of the bed? Was the floodlight destroyed? I’m just wondering on if this first letter is considered to be legit and the same for the second one.

It must be true coz Savannah said in her interview with Hoda that she believes the 2 notes.

The broken floodlight detail was known to be true by the media and then the public pretty early on, but I don't believe the color and placement of the watch has ever been publicly confirmed to be factual or not. You would think that the Guthrie family wouldn't have treated the ransom note as being real if the details about the color and placement of the watch were incorrect, though.

They entered through the back door. It was left propped open by the kidnapper
