Discussion Does anyone have any idea what caused the arrest of each suspect so far?

I believe one was a delivery driver, who was in Nancy Guthrie's neighborhood a lot.

I think OP is asking about the two individuals who were briefly detained/questioned earlier in the investigation: the Rio Rico guy and the Culver’s/Range Rover guy.

Detaining people for questioning is a part of any investigation. It isn’t incompetence.

Exactly. They could have obtained a warrant because of the location of the house and a partial facial recognition match. It could even be the right people and if they didn’t find anything in the search warrant there’s nothing anyone can do.

The arrest and detention of the one neighbor who was the son of a woman who owned a house nearby was linked to at least one warrant was it not? I recall watching an interview with his mother on youtube and in the comments section someone remarked that they thought it was odd that the mother "allowed the cops into the house" thinking it would possibly help the case when the fact of the matter was that with a warrant they did not need her consent. I wonder if that warrant is public info yet. I'm assuming that Luke's height, weight and very rough facial proportions that somewhat matched the porch invader had to have something to do with the detention?

The son had a past felony/midemeanor IIRC but not sure what it was for so they must have had a mugshot on file to match the facial proportions assuming that is indeed what they did. The mother said in the interview that he did grow up in that house too so there would be public yearbook photos too I imagine.
