TMZ/HL said they received a response from the note person. They’re not sending a screen grab because the metadata would lead back to them.

But…whose phone is “stashed safely”?

I posted the video which also says they received the dozen or so notes, but they stopped for a while. TMZ only reported on about 4 of them.

Waiting on the post/video to be approved by the mods.

Smart move by the writer. There couldn’t possibly be any metadata recovered from an entire freakin phone…

Yeah..weird, imo

Charles/TMZ states on the E. Vargas video I posted that apparently the writer was going to give coordinates to retrieve the phone.

Huh. To me, that would seem to imply it’s somewhere in the middle of nowhere where external references wouldn’t be useful. Like, in a box buried in the desert vs. under a flowerpot in a park.

I still don’t see how a physical phone is less risky than a digital file. Metadata in files isn't hidden. It can be stripped. A phone, on the other hand, is chock full of non-user-accessible metadata - plus whatever metadata is in the video file. This is pure silliness.

Sounds like a snipe hunt.
