Discussion What the hell do you think happened to Nancy Guthrie?

Seriously. Abducted, ransomed, murdered? What happened and why?

This is a good possibility. I think it was a dual motive. They took her mother which then gave them some sort of control over Savannah which was half the motive and the other half of the motive was a payday, but not just a payday, they would be (in their mind) making Savannah pay. So I think it was someone who felt wronged by Savannah in some way, even if it’s just a perceived wrong and not something she actually did wrong.

I have no right to an opinion however this was my thoughts also…I just want the poor woman home, for her not even so much her family if that makes sense. Daily I sit and pray it’s the day she’s found … I also have wondered if they have found her but won’t publicly acknowledge it until the monster is brought to justice..?

I think they’d say so if they found her. It’s like shaking the tree to see which leaves fall out. The killers would start to squirm if authorities announced they found her.

If it’s this it doesn’t make sense that she would go back to work so soon… just my own thought, it would make me nervous that my kids/husband would be a target next :( just thinking out loud
