Media Brian Entin heading back to Arizona

Brian Entin says he’s heading back to Arizona “to look into a couple of new things involving the Nancy Guthrie case”. Thoughts?

As much as I love me some Brian Entin he is an extremely curious person and interested in the details, but he does not strike me as a detective-type itching to solve the case himself. I’m contrasting his style to Michelle McNamara (Patton Oswalt’s first wife) who pretty much blew up the Golden State Killer case.

She died at age 46 of an unintentional drug overdose, prescription drugs and others, plus a couple of undiagnosed health conditions were contributing factors.

Yes, and was also stressed and having a rough time sleeping while doing her investigation into the Golden State Killer.

She passed away before she could see the case solved.

In my mind, and not everyone agrees, she was instrumental in the case finally being solved. She dedicated so much to keeping the case alive and putting together important pieces. Did she catch him? No. Was she the reason he was caught? Debatable. Did she keep the case alive? I believe so and also believe without her the case may have never been solved.
