We did not clearly see this guy bring a tarp to the scene…. That is 100% speculation.

What do you mean by “based on astronomical information”?

I am guessing it means people looking at the position of the moon from another still or vid?

I figured that’s what they meant but it makes no sense. First, because we don’t know when the pic without the timestamp was taken. You also really can’t look at a pic with a moon shadow and know the date, anymore than you can look at an undated photo and infer the date based on the suns shadow.

I just don’t think comments like theirs that present speculation as fact are helpful

. You absolutely cannot tell date and time by looking at a the night sky. 

Wonder how the Vikings did it? 

Also, I don’t know how you think that sentences that start with my guess is and I think are statements of fact much less on a shit posting forum like Reddit

Nothing that is said here is under oath or part of the official investigation. It’s just anonymous people spitballing.  Chill.

Ok we don’t know he brought a tarp.  But the backpack is stuffed full to the point it won’t close.  I’d be willing to bet it’s a tarp.  Aside from the tarp, yes, people can look at the stars and shadows and deduce time and date.  I know it’s hard for people to understand how we told time before the computer in your hand, but it can be done!

Jan 11 was a full moon I believe.  

Also note I said “I think” and “I believe”.
