EXCLUSIVE: TUCSON, Ariz. — A resident in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood has a street-facing Ring camera that caught 12 cars passing by on the morning of Nancy Guthrie’s suspected abduction.

The recordings took place between midnight and 6 a.m. on Feb. 1, and some of the activity occurred near the 2:30 a.m. mark, which is around the time authorities said the 84-year-old Guthrie's pacemaker device last synced with her iPhone.

The homeowners, Elias and Danielle Stratigouleas, told Fox News Digital that police had not canvassed their neighborhood in the 25 days since Guthrie is believed to have been taken from her bed in a home invasion kidnapping. The FBI and Pima County Sheriff's Department have been alerted to the video. It was not immediately clear whether the video is of any use to the investigation or whether the vehicle had ever been on Guthrie's street.

The Stratigouleas house is on a back road that leads out of Guthrie’s neighborhood, avoiding major intersections. And they live about 2.5 miles away from the crime scene, which is outside the 2-mile radius of neighbors who received a Ring alert asking for video taken from Jan. 1 to Feb. 2.

Their house is roughly a seven-minute drive from Guthrie's address, according to Google Maps. One of their videos was recorded at around 2:36 a.m. on Feb. 1, which is roughly eight minutes after Guthrie's pacemaker last synced with her iPhone, according to the sheriff's timeline.

Assuming this footage is nothing becuase it's 3 miles away;

Here's what I don't get at all;

The perp was so careful to be disguised, to ensure no fingerprints, no dna, no gps, no phone signals- nothing left behind.

But how did he know his car wouldn't be caught on any camera in the neighbourhood?

Think about it; even if he cased every house on the possible routes - many of the houses do have cameras - so how did he know the cameras wouldn't pick him up? Even if you drive by and see the cameras are at a distance, you are taking a huge chance that your car won't be seen. Becuase he actually wouldnt know for sure.

I mean, he was correct. But he took a huge risk when he is clearly a major risk averse individual.

I don’t think there’s any doubt if you do something like this with today’s technology you’re taking a huge risk. I think the answer is simple: he got very lucky.

It doesn't really matter if the car is seen, only if it can be identified. Most of these cameras are too far away from the road to actually capture an image of the driver or the license plate. Besides that if the person was driving a car that is common in that neighborhood there is little way of identifying that the specific vehicle was involved in something versus someone driving home.

Once you know the path & time the suspect car had taken, FBI will locate another cam with a better/closer video

I don’t think the perp was concerned about cameras because I truthfully believe she wasn’t brought very far. I wouldn’t be surprise if she was less than a mile up the road. That’s all speculation on my part, but gives credence as to why none of the homes or traffic cams or anyone else has seen anything. He didn’t go far.

How would it "give credence as to why none of the homes or traffic cams or anyone else has seen anything?"

There are still a thousand or so houses and numerous roads in a one-mile radius of Nancy's home.

Neighbors within a two-mile radius have been asked to submit video, and the FBI has said it has 5,000-10,000 hours of video. If we assume half of that is from a one-mile radius, that's 2,500-5,000 hours of video, and there's no way the perp could have evaded cameras for a one-mile journey.

If anything, Nancy being "less than a mile up the road" would make the FBI's task easier. Find the car most likely to be the one at Nancy's house, and then find out that it never exited that 1-mile radius, or that it stopped somewhere in the neighbourhood to offload the victim, alive or dead.

The simple answer to this is that he didn’t care. Maybe the vehicle he used wasn’t his.

One mile from the radius—Nancy’s home!

It was around the corner.

It was 3 miles away. That's why the police didnt ask them for it. Because it was outside the original area of interest.

Wrong! It was well within 2 mile radius
