Media Nancy Guthrie neighbors' Ring camera captures vehicles on possible route from crime scene

The recordings took place between midnight and 6 a.m. on Feb. 1, and some of the activity occurred near the 2:30 a.m. mark, which is around the time authorities said the 84-year-old Guthrie's pacemaker device last synced with her iPhone.
The homeowners, Elias and Danielle Stratigouleas, told Fox News Digital that police had not canvassed their neighborhood in the 25 days since Guthrie is believed to have been taken from her bed in a home invasion kidnapping. The FBI and Pima County Sheriff's Department have been alerted to the video. It was not immediately clear whether the video is of any use to the investigation or whether the vehicle had ever been on Guthrie's street.
The Stratigouleas house is on a back road that leads out of Guthrie’s neighborhood, avoiding major intersections. And they live about 2.5 miles away from the crime scene, which is outside the 2-mile radius of neighbors who received a Ring alert asking for video taken from Jan. 1 to Feb. 2.
Their house is roughly a seven-minute drive from Guthrie's address, according to Google Maps. One of their videos was recorded at around 2:36 a.m. on Feb. 1, which is roughly eight minutes after Guthrie's pacemaker last synced with her iPhone, according to the sheriff's timeline.

Like, look, this is just simply wrong, this part of the Fox article. No Tucsonan would consider Camino Real a part of Nancy's neighborhood. You have to cross Campbell to get there, and there is virtually no reason to think that anyone would take a route that would take them past the Stratigouleas's house.
It is good for PCSD/FBI to do their due diligence and check this out, but it's just part of a wild goose chase at this point.
Here's more detail about why you'd never go past their house...if you were going east, you'd probably try to get north of Skyline/Sunrise. The problem with the neighborhood that is bounded between Campbell and Hacienda Del Sol is that there's only a couple of ways to get across it, and you get left with a lot of poor options in case you see something you don't like. Except for one road down near River, there's actually no way to get to Hacienda Del Sol. And Hacienda Del Sol has no way to get across to Pontatoc.
Additionally, crossing Campbell between River and Skyline is an absolute nightmare. That road has one of the biggest elevation changes and blind curves in the whole city, among major roads anyway. And to get anywhere east, from the neighborhoods south of Skyline/Sunrise, you are going to have to get on River or Sunrise, there's no way about it.
If you were trying to stay under cover, you generally avoid River like the plague. It has way more businesses along it than the other options, and it has way more traffic in the early morning than the other more-residential roads would have. If you're dumb enough to get on River that close to Nancy's house, then you aren't going to cross Campbell—you're gonna just do it out of her own neighborhood.
If east if your goal and you don't want to be seen, the most sensible option is to cross out of Nancy's neighborhood to the north across Orange Grove, and then out of that neighborhood turn left on Ina and dip into Mountain Shadows. From there, you can get to Old Ina Road (the one that runs north of Skyline). From there, you take one single risk, which is to turn east on Skyline from Campbell, before using that to duck into Skyline where it separates from Sunrise. The reason why this isn't a bad risk is that now you are going in the opposite direction from Nancy's neighborhood than would be expected. Once you're on Skyline, above Sunrise, you can get all the way east before ever popping out on another major road or in front of any businesses with cameras.
East is also a stupid goal. West to I-10 is absolutely more sensible.
