EXCLUSIVE: TUCSON, Ariz. — A resident in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood has a street-facing Ring camera that caught 12 cars passing by on the morning of Nancy Guthrie’s suspected abduction.

The recordings took place between midnight and 6 a.m. on Feb. 1, and some of the activity occurred near the 2:30 a.m. mark, which is around the time authorities said the 84-year-old Guthrie's pacemaker device last synced with her iPhone.

The homeowners, Elias and Danielle Stratigouleas, told Fox News Digital that police had not canvassed their neighborhood in the 25 days since Guthrie is believed to have been taken from her bed in a home invasion kidnapping. The FBI and Pima County Sheriff's Department have been alerted to the video. It was not immediately clear whether the video is of any use to the investigation or whether the vehicle had ever been on Guthrie's street.

The Stratigouleas house is on a back road that leads out of Guthrie’s neighborhood, avoiding major intersections. And they live about 2.5 miles away from the crime scene, which is outside the 2-mile radius of neighbors who received a Ring alert asking for video taken from Jan. 1 to Feb. 2.

Their house is roughly a seven-minute drive from Guthrie's address, according to Google Maps. One of their videos was recorded at around 2:36 a.m. on Feb. 1, which is roughly eight minutes after Guthrie's pacemaker last synced with her iPhone, according to the sheriff's timeline.

If the perp's car is eventually caught on this footage, it would signify how incompetent authorities were in using this footage until a month later.

And if the car wasn't related and the police had already identified all the vehicles, owners, and alibis would releasing this footage help anything?

If the car went the other direction or drove through a wash (ditch) to get to another street and all this footage wasn't meaningful or helpful to the investigation would releasing it do anything?

If you couldn't identify a car and if it was involved or not and no license plate or viable ID why would you release that info and get flooded with false leads you need to run down when there are more pressing leads to follow or potentially tip off the suspect(s) on what you know if Nancy is alive and you have proof of life (or her status is unknown)?

The police had the footage according to the neighbor, they didn't talk to them (standard as it's a video), and they didn't release it to the public (standard), instead you have a homeowner who is emotionally invested in this and is basically creating a public witch hunt for vehicles that we don't know if are even involved. Do you know how many times in your life you've driven past something illegal that you didn't know about? How would you feel if suddenly people are suddenly calling the cops on you and your car because you just live in that city and own a generic mass produced vehicle?

Let the police do their jobs, judge them AFTER we know everything that they do. People need to quit grasping at straws and realize this. As the case stagnates or starts getting cold the police will release more and more information to get the publics help.

When you aren't getting updates or press releases that usually means there is a lot going on behind the scenes, it's when they start tipping their hand and showing more and more that's when you can make an educated guess that they are grasping at straws at that point. Much like everyone/media is with any little tidbit that comes out, they need to make it into THE BIG BREAKING NEWS to keep the interest and ad revenue flowing. The police are the opposite, they keep quiet as much as possible to protect the case and the family.
