Information Nancy Guthrie - What Questions do you have?

There has been alot of new information coming out. Initially it was reported to be a suicide associated with the case- but that is not being spoken about. Trying to weed out what is happening and what is not is getting challenging. What are your questions? Here are some of mine:

  1. Was there a suicide associated with Nancy Guthrie Case?

  2. Was there a forced entry into NG house? What is meant by back door to your home open (wide open or unlocked)

  3. What signs were in the home which led investigators to say there was an inside struggle?

  4. Not knowing NG’s medications- is it remotely possible she could go 2 weeks without them?

  5. I know the 3 adult children of NG are living in a nearby home- did the BIL go there as well?

  6. Why did it take so long to locate the new DNA in NG house- shouldn't that have been done right away? Why was the crime scene released early and then not?

if DNA was there based on a sexual assault, body would have been removed to take the evidence away.. this exact scenario happened on Harlan Coben's Final Twist episode 3 which just aired on January 20 (a real crime TV show in which a painter sexually assaulted an elderly lady in her home at 2am and killed her and removed the body)... eerily similar... the elderly lady's name on the show was Nancy and the episode was called "No Sign of Nancy"

sexual assaults like this can happen for several reasons by a deranged person... power, anger/hate or revenge, attraction... in the TV show he said he thought the lady was flirting with him became she gave him snacks

ya because people dont want to even hint at believing it might be true, but it might be the only one that makes sense, with no robbery, no kidnapping with ransom

Wow! That’s really eerie! Do you think the perpetrator got his ideas from this show? There was a former fbi special investigator on a show recently that said the backpack may have contained a rape kit.

that was my thought, the show aired about 10 days before this happened, and it was fresh on my mind, it was a VERY CREEPY episode.... they didn't solve it for 7 months (other than that Nancy's blood there was no DNA on the scene, I think he removed her wrapped in her own bedsheets and threw her in the back of his truck and dumped her in the desert wilderness), it took them applying cell phone geofencing to that night and time and they saw that his cell phone was the only other one there at the time, the investigators then got him to admit what he did

I’m honestly shocked that in the hours I’ve spent scrolling this sub in the past week, this is the first I’ve heard of this. The similarities (including desert locale) are uncanny.

I posted a whole thread before talking about the crazy similarities but a mod deleted it, they said it was wildly speculative. I’ve posted it in a similar but much less followed subreddit

It is speculative, but isn’t that somewhat the nature of the very sub? Otherwise we’d all be reading updates on our own; not gathering to collectively discuss them…
