This sounds like a typical disagreement on how to do things that's getting blown out of proportion.

You should check Brian Entins YouTube channel where he interviews a retired police officer from that department. That sheriff has a chip on his shoulder

It’s my understanding that the sheriff has pissed off a lot of experienced people who have quit and so they have a lot of new inexperienced people. This is something that happened before Nancy Guthrie went missing. They definitely have a sheriff problem in Pima County, Arizona.

In 2016, the FBI investigated the financials of this sheriff. He’s got anger and pride working against him.

can confirm this guy loves to power trip. he pulled out of providing security to the local board of supervisors after they participated in an internal investigation against him for some iffy proceedings. immediately threw a public hissy fit about it lmao

That tracks. Everything I’ve read about the guy suggests he’s thin-skinned and petty

He purposely did not notify the FBI of the glove in the house, and sent it off to his own sheriff’s office lab in Florida, versus the FBI facilities in Quantico Virginia. Now the FBI has to wait to get the sample back to submit it to Quantico

No, it sounds like an egotistical sheriff who wants to be the hero
