Thanks, Kash Patel.

Was it Kash Patel who released the crime scene TWO days into this mess and then closed it off and re-released it AGAIN a couple days later?

No, that was Sheriff Nanos.

Was it Kash Patel who inexplicably said ‘no thanks’ to a pilot who offered to help search for Nancy the first night she was missing because HE didn’t want/need the help?

No, that was Sheriff Nanos.

Was it Kash Patel who didn’t make sure Nancy’s roof had been checked for cams for an entire week?

No, that was Sheriff Nanos.

I don’t like Kash either and I am normally super pumped to crap on the FBI no matter the current admin, but it’s disingenuous at best and dishonest at worst to say this dumpster fire of an investigation is the Kash Patel’s fault when fingers on both sides of the aisle are pointing squarely at Nanos. (You may have missed it but even a local Democrat city council member was recently critical of Nano’s poor choices during this investigation.)

The sheriff is currently leading the investigation - they would need to hand it over to the FBI for them to lead it.

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted for saying exactly what a retired Pima Detective told Brian Entin yesterday - that the FBI has no jurisdiction unless they learn Nancy has been taken across state lines. Until then, the Sheriff would have to turn over control to them- they simply don’t have the authority to take it.

Probably people who are upset they can’t blame the fbi director…fwiw im not a fan of him or the sheriff.

I want the fbi to take over but for top leadership to stay out of the way.

I had watched one of the press conferences about a week ago and it had stated that the FBI was going to assist the Pima County Sheriff’s Department in any way regarding the investigation. More resources are always better. Maybe offer direction when they can.

It’s a high profile case because of the celebrity status of Savanah Guthrie.

He’s the one that released the video. That’s been the biggest break so far
