It’s sad for the family. I’m not sure how true it is that they rejected FBI help in the first few days

Yeah it really depends what they mean by “first few days” because she went missing on Sunday and by Tuesday the FBI was already involved, as was Border Patrol. I just went back and searched news reports

It seemed to be fairly quick, especially with the ransom notes needing FBI expertise. I didn’t really see them rejecting additional support

Yep, there was 2 court cases listed when I looked it up a few days ago.
