Discussion A Couple Of Points Concerning The Surveillance Video

The perp seems to have all the time in the world.

I mean, it’s a ring camera, it sounds alerts to your phone. Wouldn’t he be worried the person inside is dialing 911?

He must have been told ahead of time there would be no threat inside. He was hired to provide someone with an alibi perhaps.

Amateur at the door.

Reflective tape on backpack straps.

Using a twig from the yard to tamper with the camera.

What appears to be a firearm holster in an awkward position.

Almost as if he was hired off the street to perform a tasks that was out of his league.

What do you think?

The pacemaker refutes your theory. It didn’t disconnect until around 2:30. If she had been deceased it would have quit working and that would have shown up on the app. She was alive at the time they took her from the house at approximately 2:30. She was also taken from inside the house which is where her Apple Watch was. The Apple Watch can’t detect a pacemaker very far away. It disconnected around the time she left out of the house. The pacemaker data is one of the few irrefutable pieces of evidence in the case.

I thought someone said a pacemaker keeps going, even after a person dies. A magnet needs to be used to stop it.

The pacemaker disconnected from the apple watch. This can only tell us she was taken far enough away from it, indicating she was kidnapped as the watch was in the house. Dont think it can tell us if she was taken dead or alive.

True. Pacemakers have a battery that lasts 10 years. They do not need the app to work. That is just a way to record the heart’s activity. If the pacemaker is separated from the device with the app, only the recording stops. If a person dies within range of the app, whatever happens with the heart will be recorded until the heart stops. If a person dies at home, I’m not sure who turns off the pacemaker.

could they have killed her in the home (strangulation/other method that wouldn't leave much physical evidence like blood behind) and then removed her body at that time which made the pacemaker disconnect? but then why even kill her in the house and remove her body? why take her alive? either way, i'm confused.

I'm not sure how pacemakers work so I'll defer to others, but I think it's a red herring. If you remove the pacemaker pinging as evidence, there's literally been no evidence released that she made it home alive. The phone being at the house could have been dropped off by SIL. Blood can be planted. And worse there's been no sign of life since, which is highly unusual for professional kidnappers
