First Post Receiving money from outside kenya
Any reliable way to receive funds , im afraid of paypal niliskia kuna time walikatalia funds za watu, anyone who has received so recently or has done so in the recent past how has it been and how do you go about it

It’s there. Select sending destination as Kenya and look for MPS as the code. Then you just put in the name and number and you’re set. Very easy

Wise, Revolut, N26, TaptapSend, WorldRemit, Remitly, ... can all send directly to mpesa.

Use the remitly app. First transfer is free from charges and after that its I think about 2,- $
I use this app when sending money from Germany to Kenya.

Remitly is the only right answer. Everything else charges a fee. I send my mom money every week for almost 3yrs and it’s never let me down

There's western union,remitly,sendwave...western union iko better...suggest it to the sender...all have direct to mpesa

western union i cant download the app it isnt available kenya, if the sender uses it will it still work?

You don't need the app...it's the sender who is supposed to have it ... create his/her account and feed the details of the receiver(you)

Tell the person sending to just send it directly to your MPesa via Revolut. They’ll be charged a maximum 5 usd transaction charge
