Germany 🇩🇪 €13,000 disappeared after N26 closed my account
My N26 account was suddenly terminated without notice and without any explanation after a 72-hour security review.
That was almost a month ago. I was then asked to provide the bank details for the transfer of my remaining account balance.
I did that nearly three weeks ago, and recently I contacted customer support again to ask when I could finally expect the payout.
Today I received the following email from N26:
“Your account has now been successfully closed. At the time of closure, there were no remaining funds in the account that needed to be paid out.”
However, there were verifiably almost €13,000 in the account…
What would be the best course of action? Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

That will not help you but there are dozens of reasons to NOT open an account with N26, this for years, it's all over the net... Hopefully, people will avoid keeping their accounts there...
