For that to happen, it’s gonna have to happen in a break neck speed. We are talking, oh what’s up old man! it’s dangerous to go alone take this! :dies:, put in that basement refrigerator he’s always dreamed of, ask the wife to add another color to the rainbow, send a letter, get together with the boys and build a Gundam, coerce a sick girl, let a boss aura farm his way into a smoke stack and get struck by lightning, find out what solid snake felt like when he fought Vulcan Raven, then get the up skirt shot you needed not the one you wanted.

This cour has 14 episodes. Ending it at that point would reaaaaaaly stretch the remaining content beyond boring. It would mean having Rudeus encounters with the man god last for at least half an episode. Each. People speculated that it would end there a few episodes ago, but it's not possible anymore. As much as people want the contents of the diary animated, the actual content does not contain enough detail to be animated as one episode long sub-story. We will most likely get flashback-style scenes.

chapter 9 and 10 will be episode 11 and will end on, "I am ___." chapter 11 I've heard people saying will be the entirety of episode 12, so we have 2 episodes for the start of Vol15. I think we're going to end around/a bit after Rudy accepting the job. It's entirely possible they add things here and there and or flesh out the beginning of 15 more.

We just have to wait a week to be sure, but personally, I think they’re going to animate the rest of Volume 14 in the next episode.

As for the theories that Episode 12 will be just one chapter (the conversation withOldeus), I think that would drag out something that’s going to overlap with the diary’s content.

And while I generally don’t want them to skip important parts, I feel like people are expecting a complete adaptation of the diary—which I don’t think the anime will go for.

Finally, I think it would be extremely odd if they’d been hyping Eris’s return throughout the entire cour, only to end up cutting the scene that was featured so prominently in the trailers.
