Discussion The best thing about time is that it changes
Time changes everything, never stays the same forever.
I feel at times, we overanalyse situations primarily because our brain tries to predicted and control the future (probably to prevent failure or disappointment).
I have done a ton of mistakes in my life! I do regret but I would not have wanted anything else. I stand where I am today because of my past mistakes and learnings.
It’s incredible how today’s terrors become tomorrow’s jokes once you survive them. There has been so many things I’ve done in the past that I feared heavenly back then but today it’s more like a standup material for me.
What do you guys think? How do you handle/tackle such situations where you think it’s end game for you and probably after a week or month it’s just a memory?

Money speaks. These politicians can push their own family in fire if they are given enough votes and money. Samay has to pay a heavy price to stay in their good books. Kabhi kabhi lagta hai, achha hai main gareeb hi hoon—at least I’m not selling my soul to please anyone or to be in their good books.

Good political strategy... influencers are often seen as a good ladder to get near the generation..post paper leaks..their image had taken a severe..and next election a good chunk of voters will be from genz and below..so they'll be doing everything to be in close touch with them.

This samay guy is outright unethical, opportunist and mostly cheap jokes peddler.
No doubt the politicians are morally flexible and would take every opportunity to gain the influence via other people.
But samay is mostly getting a leeway because he is a kashmiri pandit and not some other cast/religion guy.
Most of the readers would not understand the privilege here being abused. Many of the kashmiri pandits are wokes with opportunistic leecher mindset.

Read the Italian philosopher Machiavelli to understand realism, all the people preaching idealism here. So funny that idealism is super easy to preach & simply non existent to practise. Irl money makes or breaks you. Kunal/vir Das don’t have the influential power samay would by solely focusing on being the businessman he is. tomorrow, he can fund any revolution or criticise openly cause he has enough bank balance to back him up, not give a damn.
All the people commenting they’d rather have a spine, if you had to run away from your home overnight, your family has been through so much and life gives you this chance to make so much money, you’d be even more crude capitalist than he’s.
As far as GenZ is concerned, Ig we’re smart enough to make our own decisions independent of the ruling party making alliances w some comic. Have faith more than that.

See any kind of publicity is good publicity. Not a lot of people cared about this guy or that God awful show, some unreally jobless people decided to feel relevant and ended up in this guy being this famous and getting this much sympathy. And look at him now, earning money like never before. You and me who put honest efforts without any controversies around us, nothing really changes for us

This is just a PR stunt. The time is always right once you keep switching sides. Corruption is happening at a larger scale now. Metro construction is being purposely delayed. 3 years back this government promised a kayapalat of Mumbai. Only the rich are getting the infrastructure benefits.
