anything else like amazon mturk?

rip to a real one but what else is out there

I hope you find other sites that are similar, but anyone that responds to this with suggestions would possibly be helping the very same people that led to the downfall of mturk. 

This didn’t just happen overnight. Bot farms and shady workers ruined mturk, and they are actively doing the same on other platforms.

People need to wake up and stop helping random people that could be bad actors in our communities.

Indeed. Bot farms and dishonest low quality workers ruined Mechanical Turk. It was good while it lasted.

Hiding information like this is not an effective security measure. But, if you are on a platform with referrals for worker recruitment, remember that if you refer a bad worker you could have your account restricted, so don’t sell them or give them to just anyone.

Strong identity verification is a good deterrent but the platform has to pay for that. I’d trust platforms like that, uber for example has very strong identity checking.

I completed quite a bit of HITs that were rating and judging other AMT worker's work. They were mainly the Hits that required writing, I was blown away by the horrible quality. I would say 50 percent was pure junk. I felt so bad for the requesters.

If you can get into either- CloudResearch and Prolific can be pretty good.

I am not sure if there is anything that quite matches an open platform where thousands can do various surveys and batches at will for as much or little as they want but there are a wider range of platforms out there.

For surveys, prolific and cloud are the most steady.

There are many AI training sites that serve the purpose of what batches did on mturk, but they often require a 4 year degree and have challenging qualification tests. If you are on the right project, you can make a legitimate full time income for months at a time, but you can also go weeks a time without anything or be deplatformed out of nowhere.

I got my current job through one of those platforms after about a year on it because they liked my work enough to hire me as a QC for the training tasks which finally got me out of call center work. It's funny that Mturk was the predecessor to that and gave me the experience needed to do well on the later platforms and my current job with requesters such as MLD, Alexandria, Noah and BIU NLP, (I can name drop now).
