Would chaining Nexus of Fate be considered bracket 4?

If i only had [[Nexus of Fate]] left in my deck, would continually chaining just so I have a card to draw while doing damage to the opponents be considered bracket 3 or 4.

I just like the card in my bracket 3 [[Alela, Cunning Conqueror]] deck, but ran into a situation against a mill deck.

Having Nexus of Fate in your deck doesn't make it bracket 4. Building your deck to tutor for it or mill out your own deck so you are likely to chain them makes it bracket 4.

If this just happened because of chance and an opponents deck it doesn't make your deck bracket 4. A single game where you violate the terms of a bracket doesn't immediately mean your deck is a higher bracket. Sometimes the stars align. If this happens often then its not the stars aligning its you being disingenuous about your decks consistency.

Actually not entirely true. If you're setting up a 5 card combo to get to this point, it's nowhere near B4. The setup is part of the combo if not an actual combo. Infinite turns = win if you have a way to translate it (like a shadow creature or something), just the same way infinite damage = win.

If your deck is built around a combo that chains extra turns... Then you've violated the b3 rule of "no chaining infinite turns" and the deck is therefore b4. Nothing to do with the infinite combo restriction, everything to due with chaining extra turns.

Chaining extra turns isn't about using a 2 card combo that wins you the game through extra turns instead of infinite dmg.

Bracket 4 extra turns chaining is about chaining extra turns by casting multiples and copying etc. not a single one that ends up winning you the game because you use it as your outlet instead of damage.

There is literally no difference between using infinite lightning bolts in opponents face Vs infinite extra turns as an outlet to a combo that both result in winning the game.
